Answer the Call. Serve Your Community.
Why Volunteer With Station 9?
Every time the Cherry Lane Fire Department & First Responders respond to an emergency, it is because a neighbor chose to step up and serve. Being a volunteer is a commitment like no other—it offers the chance to save lives, protect property, and be part of a second family. Whether you are looking for a way to give back or seeking a new challenge, we have a place for you.
Train to battle structural fires, vehicle accidents, and wildland blazes. We provide the gear and the certifications required to keep you safe on the front lines.
Focus on life-saving medical care. Many of our members serve as EMTs or First Responders, providing a critical link in the chain of survival for Glade Valley.
Not everyone wears a pack. If you have skills in administration, maintenance, or community outreach, you can still play a vital role in station operations.
