The Fleet of Station 9

Built for the Rural Landscape

Protecting Glade Valley requires specialized equipment that can handle winding mountain roads, remote residential areas, and expansive wildland. From high-capacity water tankers to agile brush units and modern fire engines, our fleet is meticulously maintained and ready to roll at a moment's notice.

Engines & Pumpers

Our primary fire suppression units. Equipped with high-volume pumps and hundreds of feet of hose, these engines are the front-line defense against structural fires and vehicle emergencies.

Tankers

In a rural district without municipal fire hydrants, water supply is everything. Our tankers carry thousands of gallons of water directly to the scene, ensuring our engines never run dry during an attack.

Brush & Wildland Units

Designed for off-road agility, these smaller trucks are essential for fighting brush and forest fires in hard-to-reach locations across Alleghany County.
